Chotto Matte is a globally renowned restaurant group celebrating the vibrant fusion of Japanese-Peruvian (Nikkei) cuisine across London, Miami, San Francisco, and Toronto. To unveil their SS'25 season and reignite the city’s appetite for high-concept dining experiences, Chotto Matte Toronto partnered with Prospekt to create an experiential and luxury event unlike any other.

The Challenge
Chotto Matte wanted to reintroduce its Toronto location as the city’s definitive spot for upscale, immersive dining—but without falling into the trap of another standard tasting or industry event while moving past financial industry guests due to its location. The experience had to feel rare, exclusive, and built for Toronto’s new culture class of tastemakers, creators, and social connectors.
Key Challenges
Regular customer base skewed corporate and finance professionals due to its downtown location
Brand needed to reach culturally influential, lifestyle-driven Torontonians for the Spring/Summer
Toronto’s luxury food scene is crowded with templated events and repetitive brand partnerships

Our Approach
We concepted and produced BUMP: an elevated, caviar-inspired Spring/Summer launch event built around sensory luxury and Chotto Matte’s Nikkei culinary identity. Anchored in aesthetic precision and global sound, the Sunday day party delivered a rare blend of gastronomy, experiences, and cultural energy.
